Aim: To support people in prison who have been sentenced to IPP or life tariff as they approach parole hearings, and to continue providing assistance through the gate and post-release reducing the chance of recall.

 

Working in partnership with New Connections, we have created the below pathway that provides emotional resilience support ​alongside the practical support offered by New Connections and the individual's legal team.

For this pilot, 5 clients were supported from prisons across the South of England.  Parole hearings range between August and October 2024. Case studies to follow.
