Trauma-Focused EFT (TF-EFT)
Trauma-Focused EFT is an integrative, protocol-driven approach specifically designed for trauma work. It builds on established EFT techniques and adds a clear structure that works with the mind–body connection, the nervous system, and the gut–brain axis.
Why it matters
Standard EFT can be helpful for trauma, but existing protocols don’t always meet the distinct needs of trauma clients. TF-EFT fills that gap with a manualised, step-by-step framework, similar in clarity to EMDR, so practice is consistent, safe, and measurable. This structure supports high-quality delivery, training, supervision, and evaluation, and aligns with the kind of standards bodies like NICE look for when assessing therapies.
